It's Boating Season Once Again

A special thank you to our customers for your support in 2017.  Special thanks too to those of you who entrusted your boat to us for storage and services over the winter.  Once again our storage yard was fully subscribed.

We are sooooo looking forward to the END of winter and the beginning of the new boating season. We are ready to “do it all again’ for you this season.

We will join you on the water as well, enjoying the salt air and water. Most often you will find us fishing in Quincy or Hull Bays or the Nantasket area. We are indeed fortunate to have this Atlantic Ocean resource available to us.

We extend a “tight lines” wish to our fishing friends and enjoyment for all on the water.

Best to all of you,

Melanie Krause, Owner & General manager
Ed Lofgren, President and CEO

New Boat Highlight - Parker 2450 DC

The big news for Parker Boats for the 2018 model year is the all-new, fully-loaded 2540 Dual Console. The 2540 DC hull will have an overall length of 30 feet, 2 inches while boasting a 9-1/2-foot beam. Parker's proven 21-degree deep-vee hull design paired with twin Yamaha F200 outboards will provide a top-end speed of 50 mph while cruising comfortably and economically in the 25- to 35-mph range. This new dual console will go a long way in between fill-ups with a generous 163-gallon fuel tank. With the 2540DC, Parker continues to embrace its heritage while combining trend-setting features to maximize the family boating experience. An attractive, rugged hardtop, spacious helm and cockpit with convertible seating arrangements, along with an enclosed head are all configured with the family's comfort in mind. High-end upholstered lounge and sundeck seating offers the best of style, comfort and long-term durability and she can also work efficiently at bending the rods when it's time to fish. We have one in stock (as of the writing of this newsletter) if you want to stop by and take a look.

Invite to our Women on the Water Program

We have set the date for our 5th Annual Women on the Water program - Saturday, May 5th, 2017.

Our goal with this program is to present an opportunity to learn hands-on boating basics in a non-threatening environment. We seek to promote confidence, which makes for a good time on the water. We also promote safety on the water.

There will be a land-side session covering navigation, safety, and everything else that can be covered on land. There will be two on-the-water sessions, and we provide the boats! One of the on-the-water sessions will cover docking and close quarters maneuvering, and the second session will go out cruising to learn about rules of the road, sea conditions, and navigation while under way. We are planning on a 9AM start time, and the program will take a full day, wrapping up by 4pm.

In order to ensure that all participants get a chance for one-on-one interaction with the instructors, we will be limiting enrollment. Any woman who has bought a new or used boat from 3A Marine Service, Inc. in the past two years will be given priority in the enrollment process.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Terry Martin at 3A Marine. Terry can be reached at 781-749-3250, or via email at:
