E-Marketing Specialist Company Overview 3A Marine Service, Inc. is a marine sales and service company, servicing and selling powerboats up to 45 feet and all types of recreational marine power products. The company is driven by customer service, is structured around a thriving service center, and has earned a reputation as one of the best marine service center facilities in Massachusetts. The company provides maintenance and repair work year-round. 3A Marine Service sells and services Four Winns, Parker, and Seaswirl boats; and Mercruiser, Volvo, Johnson, Evinrude, and Tohatsu motors. The company also sells and services Yamaha pre-packaged outboards. The company’s Parts and Accessories Department sells products in the retail store and on the Internet. We are a small but growing family-owned organization where everyone pitches in. The atmosphere is friendly and professional. We take very good care of our customers and they enjoy doing business with us. Responsibilities You will be responsible for developing both traditional and online lead-generation marketing campaigns and web pages, as well as maintaining and updating customer databases. Our primary tools thus far are local advertising, tradeshows, and our website. We want to build a solid, ongoing email marketing program that is integrated with our other traditional campaigns such as direct mail and tradeshows. We want to attract more customers to our reliable parts and service businesses, to keep business flowing in even during the off-season. We want to take full advantage of opportunities to link to other sites and be included in other marine sites. You will also develop and run our search engine advertising and search engine marketing campaigns. Because we are a small company, and because we believe in staying close to customers, you will also participate in tradeshows and sales efforts (meeting and greeting at the shows, pre-qualifying boat customers, and occasional retail sales counter work). However, your primary job will be to create and manage online and offline marketing programs and build a relationship marketing system for our ongoing sales and marketing efforts. You will report to the president. Experience We require a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, Public Relations or a related area of study, and/or 3 - 5 years of hands-on, Internet and traditional marketing experience. We are looking for an individual who wants to become part of a growing business. Your boating and/or marine trade experience is not a requirement, but is preferred.
