Greetings and Happy New Year from the 3A Marine Service team and warm wishes for a long and active boating season. As we enter into our 39th year, we want to thank you for your continued business. We recognize that you have choices when it comes to your boating needs and we appreciate your confidence in us.
We have had a busy winter here making upgrades to our systems, property, equipment, training and procedures in order to provide you with exceptional service you have come to expect.
We have just come out of the New England boat show with strong sales and anticipation of another fruitful year. If a new boat is in your future, give us a call. We'd love to help you navigate the process.
We are very fortunate to have some of the best marine professionals in the business on our team. Our technicians have logged over 350 training hours this winter, learning the latest engine technologies, technical skills, and safety practices. We make this investment in our people so you can be assured that YOUR investment is being serviced by highly skilled technicians.
We are proud to announce the addition of John Griffin as our new Service Adviser. Many of you already know John as one of our techs and most recently as our Delivery Captain. John will assume many of the duties previously performed by Pat Desmond. Pat is assuming a new role as Operations Manager. He will spend most of his days overseeing the day to day operations and helping the techs with the daily work flow. He will still be available if you need him, but most of the front end communication will be with John Griffin.

3A Marine Service Founder & CEO Ed Lofgren was recognized by the Massachusetts Marine Trade Association at the Annual Business of Boating Conference in January.
Ed was given the Frank Farrell Award for his “tireless commitment to workforce development” since joining the industry in 1964, said Larry Russo of Russo MarineMax in introducing the award.
The Frank Farrell Distinguished Service Award is presented by the MMTA to an outstanding person in the marine industry. It may recognize long and devoted service, untiring commitment to a specific cause, or a singular act that significantly advances recreational boating in the marine industry.The award is named for the late Frank Farrell (1928-2001), a man known for his tireless dedication to the growth of recreational boating and the marine industry in Massachusetts. Farrell was a co-creator of the first New England Boat Show in 1957 and was instrumental in the formation of the organization in 1964 |

Invite to our Women on the Water Program |

We have set the date for our 6th Annual Women on the Water program - Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
Our goal with this program is to present an opportunity to learn hands-on boating basics in a non-threatening environment. We seek to promote confidence, which makes for a good time on the water. We also promote safety on the water.
 
There will be a land-side session covering navigation, safety, and everything else that can be covered on land. There will be two on-the-water sessions, and we provide the boats! One of the on-the-water sessions will cover docking and close quarters maneuvering, and the second session will go out cruising to learn about rules of the road, sea conditions, and navigation while under way. We are planning on a 9AM start time, and the program will take a full day, wrapping up by 4pm.
In order to ensure that all participants get a chance for one-on-one interaction with the instructors, we will be limiting enrollment. Any woman who has bought a new or used boat from 3A Marine Service, Inc. in the past two years will be given priority in the enrollment process.
